• casca-kbd: style the native <kbd> element inside .casca for inline keyboard keys (Ctrl + K style). Mono pill with a slightly raised border, surface background, scoped to .casca so host-page <kbd> is untouched. Ships in the core build.
• casca-date: themed <input type="date">. Branded field with focus ring, accent color, and WebKit pseudo-element styling; the popup calendar is the browser's native UI. Form-aware: the value submits with the surrounding form.
• casca-color: themed <input type="color">. Branded swatch wrapper; the popup picker is OS-native. Same pattern as casca-date.
• casca-modal: no-JS modal/dialog primitive on the hidden-checkbox + label[for] pattern, with backdrop click to dismiss. Optional slide animations via data-slide on the box (bare attribute defaults to top; values: top, bottom, left, right). Reduced-motion drops them. Same family as .casca-segment and .casca-disclosure.
• --casca-font-mono token added to design-tokens for the keyboard primitive and any future monospace uses.

casca-date, casca-color, and casca-modal ship in casca-extended-controls alongside Range Slider and Slot Grid.
